Based on news agency of sports medicine of I. R of Iran , the first group of sports medicine staff following as Dr.Ebrahim Abbasi, Mr.Hamidreza Yavari(physiotherapist), Dr.Farhad Moradi Shahpar & Dr.Sadreddin Aghakhani morad (physician) arrived in Indonesia under conditions that with thoughtful of Dr.Nourozi,president of SMFI .immediately after arrival of the first group of SMFIs’ group to Indonesia , the arrangement of opening of the sports medicine clinic provides services to the Iranian athletes during the Jakarta Games.

With opening of sports medicine clinic in Asian Games athletes’ village, sports medicine federation staff is ready to accept possible injuries from sailing, shooting, tennis, triple sports, rock climbing(takra style), beach volleyball & provide medical & nutrition advice to the athletes.

Medical team is ready to provide advice regarding athletes’ nutrition diet according to their needs.

Furthermore, sports medicine federation provided training package with titles athletes on a trip, women’s medical consideration & traveler diarrhea which can be received to athletes in clinic & before distributed among sports federations.

Due to the warm air & to prevent gastrointestinal disease, athletes should not take food into the rooms of the village.
